VETERAN'S DAY POEM

Freedom is a simple word
Or is it?
Some countries don't know
how it feels.

It feels like a warm pillow with
your head sinking into it.
It feels like thinking out loud
in public.
It feels like water curling slowly across your foot.
It feels like happiness.
