MORNIN' PHOTO GALLERY BEFORE I CATCH A PLANE

Alex got permission from my son to be my assistant on the New Mexico portion of the Duke City Stakeout.

I had to do a speech at the Albuquerque Little Theatre regarding THE DUKE CITY SHOOTOUT. Being that New Mexico housed the Manhattan Project to create the Atom Bomb, it was high time that New Mexico housed a new project that will lead to a more powerful Creative Bomb and awaken the creative spirit in us all. A very nice woman from WalmART and her radiant daughter came to show their support.

My talented crew in Frisco hard at work to bring "Art to the People" and "To find the Artist within Us All".

Both EarsXXI and Zoetrope are champions of using electronic technology to help spread the creative spirit.

Conway, Tom Sebastion and CRC making "Planet X' a reality.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AUNT TALLY!

She was my brothers and my first crush when we were little. We loved it when she picked us up down in Long Beach in her white Corvette convertible. Much love to you.

DUKE CITY FEVER DREAM

Cutty did great.

Pugsley looked great.

CRC with his Duke City biker bitch.

Dark memory from a recent Santa Cruz party.

Walking to my office, I noticed this piece of paper on the ground. I went for it.

Nick Paine made a funny. I had to laugh, but he knows he'll get it back 4 times harder.

The Dodgers beat up on The Giants. That's a major perk for me.

Yet again, I brought in my father-in-law to blast away all my demons.

DUKE CITY STAKEOUT

Cutty is heading for Albuquerque with my cousin Jason Kuzia. I'll hook up with them tomorrow night. Elyse and her dog Pugsley will be joining us as well. We are shooting a teaser to promote The Duke City Shootout which will premiere at our sister filmfest DOGFEST in June 2005. It's called THE DUKE CITY STAKEOUT. Cutty and Pugsley play private eyes trying to get info on Grub Graebner (Duke City Shootout director) and Christopher R. Coppola (President of EarsXXI). They hook up with a New Mexican gypsy woman and all hell breaks loose.

GO DODGERS!

We have a real strong team this year and we're playing with 25% of the players on the DL. 1962 was the year the Dodgers played their first game at Dodger Stadium. It was also my birth year. No wonder I am such an avid fan.

WOLF/WALRUS

I just received these pictures via e-mail from Jane Sullivan, the director of the Santa Cruz Film Festival. They had the tags, "When the Wolf Speaks" & "Size Matters". Man, no wonder hardly anybody did a silent bid on me for lunch. I'm pretty imposing. I look more like a cross between a lone wolf and a lone walrus. I think I'll change my biker name to "lone W squared". Yeah, I like that.

P.S.

I didn't go on THE BIG DIPPER. It was closed when I tried. Hence, no pictures.

DUKE CITY SHOOTOUT MOTORCYCLE FUNDRAISER RALLY

One month before the cameras are rolling, Biker Chef and Sous will ride their mechanical steeds to the Land of Enchantment once again. This time we're heading up a 5 day rally that will take us to places like Roswell, Tucumcari and Deming. Tractor Brewing Co. is coming along. I will be screening a new B-Movie at different venues in each town. It's going to be a total blast. Stay tuned for more info as it gets prepped and put together.

P.S.

Still no audblog posts. I consider this whole blog rage a new artform. For me, timing is a major part. That is why I find this very frustrating.

SUNDAY WISDOM

What is lovable about any human being is precisely his imperfections. The writer is to the find the right words for these and to send them like arrows to their mark--but with a balm, the balm of love, on every point. For the mark, the imperfection, is exactly what is personal, human, natural, in the object, and the umbilical point of its life.

UP IN SANTA CRUZ TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEIR FILM FESTIVAL

I came up to Cruz for a silent auction fundraiser. Jane Sullivan, the festival director, asked if they could auction me off for lunch. Sure why not. As long as I can have one of my trusted lieutenants with me-- Scarecrow was kind enough to come down from Frisco, but he was too late to make a bid. Dammit. I also showed a short film "Red Dog" I made awhile back during the whole "Deadfall" fiasco. Basically, I made "Red Dog" when I was on the verge of a complete surreal breakdown. When you see this film, you'll understand why I don't need to take mind altering drugs. It's a film that combines Keaton slapstick, silent Westerns, and Japanese monsters. Soon it will be available at the EARSXXI Studios store.

My room at the Casa Blanca. The famous Bigger Dipper rollercoaster is right outside. I'm definitely going on it tonight. I'll put up pictures to prove it.

The Cruz film festival put on a circus, Rio, Vegas type party after the auction. The dancers getting ready for the show were very nice.

I felt like I had a silent movie Fairy on stilts looking over my shoulder.

Scarecrow and I enjoyed the show.

I finally met Paolo Durazzo's long lost brother, Gene--he's the smart one that no one knows about. He really enjoyed the show as well.
